Pet Sitting with Lyla Mae 🐾

For the next three days, I have the pleasure of spending some time with the lovely Lyla Mae while her mom is away. 💕

Lyla Mae has quickly settled into our little routine and is always there to meet me at the door when I arrive. She’s an incredibly friendly girl who loves having some company. Once the important business of food and fresh water is taken care of, she’s ready for her favorite part of our hour together: outside time! 🌿🐦

She loves heading outdoors to explore, relax, and watch the birds, while I hang out nearby and keep her company. There’s something especially nice about longer pet-sitting visits because there’s plenty of time for more than just the essentials. We can slow things down and let pets enjoy some companionship and their normal routine while their family is away.

Lyla Mae has also discovered that she’s rather fond of having a little extra water mixed into her food. Apparently this makes it extra fancy, and judging by her enthusiasm, I think we’ve found a winner. 😂

It’s only three days, but keeping things familiar can make such a difference when a pet’s person is away. For Lyla Mae, that means her meals, some extra hydration, plenty of outdoor bird watching, and most importantly just having someone there to spend time with her.

And I’m more than happy to oblige. 🩷🐾
